Initial Consultation
We will meet with you to discuss your project and to answer any questions you may have. This meeting generally lasts about an hour depending upon the scope of the project. After carefully reviewing your information, we will develop a proposal outlining our design services and associated fees. .
First Project Meeting
The first step is to analyze your needs: from rooms and style preferences, to furnishings, physical requirements and investment range. Based on the discussion from the initial meeting, we construct a portfolio of various design elements. Your feedback will provide us with a more in-depth understanding of your style and design vision.
Initial Design Concepts
Once your requirements and investment range have been determined, we’ll begin planning the arrangement of your space. In order to increase the functionality of your home, we’ll talk about environmental and ergonomic concerns.
Developing Your Design
Throughout the next few meetings, we’ll work with you toward the end goal of finalizing architectural details, lighting & mechanical plans, millwork, cabinetry, fixtures and furnishings. With visual media, we will suggest recommendations based on your goals, design style and preferences.
Final Approval
Together we will review your final design. This is the culmination of all prior phases; it represents your vision; your needs; your goals. At this time your written approval allows us to begin the next phase of your project.
Design Execution and Administration
We’ll ensure the smooth administration of contracts and that completed work meets your design expectations. We will prepare a proposal for purchasing most items needed to complete your project. With your approval and payment we not only place the orders for you, we will track, send updates and coordinate delivery times with your contractor.
