What Does the NHL All-Star Game 2012 and the Pro Bowl 2012 Have to Do with Home Decor?

With the NHL All-Star Game 2012 being played today in Ottawa and the Pro Bowl 2012 taking place this afternoon in Hawaii, it got us to thinking about how devoted men are to their sports, and yet, how often they get left out in the cold when it comes to surrounding themselves with their favorite sports memorabilia. Unless they’re a bachelor and have free reign over their space, or alternately, live with a partner and have a dedicated man cave, then chances are their baseball card collection or signed NFL poster will never see a way out of the dusty box in the garage.

So how does the woman and man of the house compromise and give the guy a chance to explore his passion in the comfort of his own home? Consider mixing his collectables into the home décor by displaying them for all to enjoy. This can be achieved in a classy and sophisticated way.

Display items in attractive cases, frames and shadow boxes. This sports wall from Architectural Digest shows how this can be done tastefully.
