Project: Living Room with Ocean Views
Enhanced Living
The task: design a living room that enhances living. The first thing we did was let in the light by maximizing the waterfront views. Hardwood floors eliminated safety issues from uneven carpets and thresholds and LED lights built into the walls create safe passage from room to room continues the trend toward safety while sustainable materials improved energy efficiency. We included an entertainment center with ample storage and a large plasma television. Andie Day, LLC incorporated a nature theme that is nurturing and healing. In the end, it was a much brighter room—for a brighter outlook on life.
