Boston Kitchen Design & Living/Dining Transformation
I was sitting at my kitchen table yesterday planning yet another party for this weekend and I just wanted to share with you what was going through my mind.
With a family my size (six sisters and one brother), even a small family get together means entertaining twenty five people. With the new kitchen, I have all the tools to help me be the “hostess with the mostess”. The new Wolf E series 30" Double Ovens and Wolf warming drawer help me to make sure all the food is out on time, fresh and hot. When I need to make something small, the Miele MasterChef Speed Oven is a great tool!! It bakes, broils, microwaves…does pretty much everything I need.
The 48” Wolf gas range top with infrared charbroiler, and the beautiful Best By Broan tempered glass canopy chimney hood are the best! I can make pasta, sauce, grill steaks, fry eggs and make macaroni and cheese for my niece all at the same time! The Sub-Zero 700BC combination drawers are a big hit! When I show family and friends around the kitchen, they are fascinated by this. It is wonderful to have so much extra cold storage. Along with being functional, the kitchen styling is a perfect fit for me!
The dining room buffet, cabinetry, copper sink and Sub-Zero 427R Wine/Refrigerator has to be my favorite part of the renovation. Every time I walk up the stairs of my home I think “Wow”!! It is beautiful! The green palette used at the Bentwood Kitchens cabinetry is unique and blends seamlessly with the view of my back yard. The granite counter and hammered Waterworks copper sink is second to none. The dining room renovation adds a great deal to my home aesthetically and is highly functional when entertaining.

In my lower family room a new wet bar looks as though it has been there from the beginning. The granite matches the fireplace (even though the fireplace is 15 years old) and the white cabinetry blends in so well with the rest of the room. I love having the fully integrated under counter refrigerator for entertaining. I am very happy with the finished product and would work with Andie Day again anytime!
